When to check your name on electrals
While the Lok Sabha election come closer. Before the election begins we will tell you how you can check your name in the Voter List. For the information of the people, tell us that the Lok Sabha Election 2019 was in seven phases.If you want to vote for any election, you should have your name in the Voter Id Card and Voter List issued by the Election Commission of India.
You will not be able to vote because of being the voter ID card, it is very important to know before the election whether your name is included in the voter list or not.
To check your name:
1) First of all visit the National Voter Service Portal (NVSP) Electoral Search page.2) Here you can find your name in two ways in the voter list – by entering the information sought or entering your electronic photo ID card (EPIC).
For people’s information, please tell that the EPIC number is written in bold letters on the Voter Id Card.
If there is an EPIC number then check your name in the Voter List
If you have an Electoral Photo ID Card (EPIC) written on Voter ID card, you can check your name in the Voter List by completing the steps mentioned below.
1) First of all visit the National Voter Service Portal (NVSP) Electoral Search page.
2) Click or search by EPIC No. Tap on
3) Enter your electronic photo ID card number, select the state by going to the menu and then inserting the code appearing in the picture, click the Search button.
If your name is in the voter list, then you will see the information just below the search button. If nothing shows, then that means your name is not included in the voter list.
If there is no EPIC number then check your name in the Voter List
In case you do not have a Voter ID card, you will not even have an Electronic Photo ID Card (EPIC).
By following the steps mentioned below, you will be able to easily check your name in the voter list.
1) First of all visit the National Voter Service Portal (NVSP) Electoral Search page.
2) Tap on click or search boy details.
3) Here you must give information about gender, gender, age, assembly constituency etc. After this, insert the code appearing in the picture and then click on the search button.
If your name is in the voter list, then you will see the information just below the search button. If nothing shows, then that means your name is not included in the voter list.
Sometimes a person’s name is not written correctly on the Voter Id Card, in such a situation, you may not get the results from Search Boy Detail.
Therefore it is advisable that if you want to check your name in the voter list then search by Electronic Photo ID Card (EPIC).
